Sibert Informational Book Award
The Sibert is a new award, first presented in 2001, by the Association for Library Service to Children (American Library Association). Established in the memory of Robert F. Sibert, the late president of the Bound-To-Stay-Bound Books organization of Jacksonville, Illinois, it will be given annually to the author of the most distinguished information book for children.
