I wanted to get back into the dating scene after my husband passed away but it had been twenty-five years since I had been in the dating game. This book helped me search and place personal ads on both the Internet and in print. More importantly I learned how to set first time meetings in a safe no-fear environment. Being a woman it was important to me to feel secure and in control when meeting a man for the first time. Buy the book.

This is an excellent guide for Any One who is trying to make a positive change in the new relationship aspect of their life. Many singles go at the dating game with no forethought of what they would like to have in a relationship. Then they take a rather aimless approach and often end up bitterly disappointed, not knowing how they got to that point. Mr. Eggleton's book gives rational approaches to dating in today's world. He gives specific guidelines that are realistic and sensitive to the needs of the single person's feelings. This is what has been missing in the singles market of books for a long time. This writer is newly married but spent 6 years as a separated then divorced woman. The wonderful advice this book offers is sorely needed !It should become a classic dating guide for singles."

Marion Eggleton, Any One Can: A guide to finding your long lost soul mate
Book Description
Lyricists say that there is someone special for everyone - a"soulmate." The dream of every single woman is to find that special friend, companion, lover, and lifetime partner who we define as our soulmate. The one that we were destined to meet but who we seemed to illusively miss as two ships passing silently in the early morning mist. The question is where is the individual? How do you meet him? Any One Can explore this thing we call the mating game: what went wrong with our high school dreams, the need to have someone in our lives, the date myths, where to look for someone new, the proactive approach of personal ads, where and how to place ads, how to respond to ads, the role the Internet can play, how to use it to your advantage, and how to beat the odds in finding your long lost "soul mate".
Excerpt from Any One Can
"Until the 20th century most marriages were arranged, they were not the result of the mating game. Most marriages were aimed at bringing together
common resources to improve one's status in life and foster a hereditary
link for the family unit. Love to the extent that it existed came later. It
came as a result of respect, of need, of the common giving of two people as
they struggled just to meet the needs of everyday living. They grew to love
each other. To love what each other did for the other. Life was more
difficult, but in many ways life was simpler. They were brought together out
of need and they stayed together out of need. They struggled. They raised a
family. And, out of that struggle...out of the mutual respect...they created
something that writers often refer to as love."
